After Hours if you need simple medical advice you may call your insurance nurse line first. Amerigroup and other Medicaid patients have a full service nurse line to help with triage and decision making . Call the 1-800 number on your card first. Should you not satisfied with the advice or you need the doctor's medical opinion please call our main number at (972) 969-4230 and an operator will assist you. You will be connected to Dr. Edenhoffer, who will evaluate your child's present condition and will recommend an appropriate course of care, ranging from home care to emergency room assistance. Please note that there is a charge for this service. We will bill this to your insurance first; however some insurance may not cover this service fully. Please note that Dr. Edenhoffer is the only physician of the practice and she prefers that you call during business hours regarding refills, medication dosing or other simple questions.
If you need medical advice for your child during office hours, please, call the office at (972) 969-4230 and we will be glad to answer your questions.
If you need medication refills, please call your pharmacy and ask them to send a refill authorization to our Clinic. Refills will be given at the discretion of the physician.
Appointments
We do our best to offer same day appointments for sick patients. To serve patients on a timely manner "Walk-ins" are discouraged for minor illnesses, please call for an appointment. If your child has an minor emergency, like an asthma attack, high fever etc. you may chose this option and call when you are on your way to let us know your estimated time of arrival, so we can be prepared for your child's needs. True emergencies of course still need Emergency Room care. Those are including but not limited to injuries requiring stitching, potential broken bones requiring X-ray and casting, seizures, head injuries, collapse, severe Asthma attack, severe allergic reactions with swollen face or lips and difficulty breathing, high fever with letargy, dehydration, abscesses that need drainage, severe chest pains, severe stomach pains, near drowning or other accidents. However, please refrain from going to the ER for non-emergency care like colds, diaper rash, ear aches and other minor illnesses. Not only that you will have a long wait time there due to the fact that they will see all real emergencies first, but also you may potentially expose your child to more serious illnesses while waiting and also you may not get the personalized care your child deserves since they do not know your child as well.

Payment Options
We understand that children need care even when they do not have insurance or insurance will not cover a service. We are dedicated to our patients and we give discount for our "self-pay" patients. for the safety our staff we do not accept cash payments. We accept credit card payments only. We offer written and signed payment plan options for a 90 day period for larger balances. We strive to explain your insurance benefits ahead of time of your visit so you can plan ahead for paying your copays and deductibles due at the time of each visit. We do offer Texas Vaccines for uninsured and underinsured patients free of charge except for administration fees.
Facilities and Equipment
Our office is a modern facility in the border of Coppell and Irving, with easy access from I-635 and accessible with public transportation with a close by bus stop. We have convenient parking right in front of the main entrance with wheel chair and stroller ramps leading to a ground level comfortable waiting area.
We have four examining rooms and an onsite lab, where we provide our patients with COVID, Strep test, Mono test, Influenza test, Urine test, Urine Pregnancy test, Urine drug screen, Stool blood test, Spirometry, Oxygen Saturation test, Anemia test, Lead test.
We strive to maintain germ free environment paying attention to Lysol and bleach all surfaces that little hands touch.
